APART FROM being the best drink in the world (Don’t argue with us on this one) Guinness also sponsors sports teams around the world, has an established World Records brand and even has an unofficial national holiday—Arthur Guinness day.
Now the drinks company is expanding its brand even more, with the announcement of a 3-Day festival set to tour around Dublin.
The party will last for nine days in total and is titled Guinness 232°C Festival, named after the exact temperature used to roast the barley to make the drink.
The festival will focus on food, music, entertainment and (of course) drink, and will be hosted at three different locations throughout Dublin in September and October.
The entertainment side promises bands, DJs, blues and reggae as the soundtrack to the festival, with some of the best Irish musical talent set to attend.
Irish chefs from around the country will descend on Dublin to show off their skills, cooking a myriad of mouth-watering dishes over an open fire.
And what better way to wash down your meal than with a pint of the black stuff?
Tickets are going at a very reasonable €10, which includes a free pint of Guinness and two dishes. What are you waiting for? You can purchase your tickets on Eventbrite here.
The ten quid ticket will provide access for any of the following dates:
