HOLLYWOOD star Hugh Jackman will perform at Dublin’s 3Arena next year as part of his first world tour.
The Australian actor, best known for his portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men series, announced the tour this morning on the Today programme in US.
Jackman will perform songs from his recent screen hit The Greatest Showman, as well as Les Misérables, The Boy From Oz and other screen and stage classics.
The tour – entitled The Man, The Music, The Show – arrives in Dublin on May 30, 2019 and will see Jackman backed by a live orchestra.
“It’s not Wolverine: The Musical,” joked Jackman on Today, as he hinted at a unique show at every stop.
“I love to go to a concert when I feel something happens that night that could only happen that night, so I try to keep it loose.”
The tour kicks off in Germany on May 13, 2019.
Tickets for the 3Arena show go on sale on December 7 at 9am at HughJackmanTheShow.com with a limited number of exclusive VIP packages available.
Tickets are also available from usual Ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.ie
