TRIBUTES have been paid following the death of a talented content producer who helped organise Belfast's annual TEDxStormont event.
Kaja Choma was a co-organiser of the poplar annual event at Parliament Buildings that brings together some of the world’s leading thinkers.
Writing on their Facebook page, TEDxStormont paid tribute to the producer and videographer, describing her as a ‘kind and generous soul’.
“Words cannot express our sadness about the loss of Kaja Choma, our valued teammate and former speaker,” they wrote.
“Kaja was a talented, articulate, dynamic, generous and wise soul who we will miss dearly.
“Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.”
The Belfast Telegraph reports that Ms Choma was originally from Poland but moved with her family to Northern Ireland at the age of 14.
The Queens University graduate worked as a personal instructor and launched a fitness initiative for Polish women in Dungannon before embarking on a career in the media.
Belfast Lord Mayor Kate Nicholl and DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson were among those who paid tribute to Ms Choma.

On the first day I spent with @KajaChoma it was immediately obvious she was someone very special. We talked about supporting mental health projects and her new found love of GAA. It is our loss. https://t.co/52XGUB8r5K

It's a mark of @KajaChoma that I only worked with her on one brief project, and still feel devastated by this. She was an amazing person. I'm so sorry. https://t.co/tGmMdVw8zi
