ONE driver was found with two giant 8's drawn on their discs displayed on their windscreen.
Gardaí patrolling in Munster found a motorist with a litany of problems on the roadside.
Officers working in Clare found one Volkswagen Passat with doctored NCT and tax discs which were just the tip of the iceberg regarding the driver's offences.
The discs, clearly out of date, were modified by the driver who used a marker to outline two 8s on the paper, recreating the NCT expiry date as being 21-08-18 and the tax disc not due to expire until August 2018.

Didn't take long to see Tax and NCT discs were altered. No insurance either! Car had two bald tyre as well. Car seized and court appearance for the driver."

The driver now faces a court date following the offences committed.
