Fundraiser set up to get Conor McGregor's dad a Dublin public transport card after hilarious rant

PEOPLE have set up a fundraiser to get a Leap card for Conor McGregor's dad Tony after he released a hilarious video complaining about Dublin public transport.

Tony McGregor posted a video of himself on social media over the weekend, complaining about how the change from his DART journey won't fit in to his "slim fit, hand-fitted Hugo Boss suit".

The reaction to the video online has been almost as funny as the video itself, with a host of fans deciding to set up a GoFundMe page, in order to get Mr McGregor a Leap card, a prepaid card which can be used on all of Dublin's public transport services.

A Leap Card costs just €5 so as you can imagine it didn't take long to reach that goal.

Even Conor himself got in on the fun, chipping in €5 with the message: "F*** sake Da, take me bleedin lambo (Lamborghini) next time!"

An Irish Rail spokesman also said he would “strongly urge” Mr McGregor to get a Leap Card.

“If money is as tight as his trousers, he can also save up to 31 per cent on his fare.”
