A Friends reunion is finally in the works with all 6 cast members

Could we BE anymore excited?

Fifteen years after the iconic show came to an end, and following literally hundreds of rumours regarding a movie or reunion over the years, it could finally be happening.

US magazine The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that all six cast members-- Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt Le Blanc, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Courtney Cox, as well as the shows creators Martha Kauffman and David Crane, are in talks for an unscripted reunion special.

While the outlet's source has warned that a deal has yet to be made, it is looking likely that a reunion will take place on HBO Max, a new streaming site similar to Netflix which has recently acquired the rights to all 10 seasons of the show.

This means that Friends will soon be removed from Netflix, much to the disappointment of the thousands of new fans who discovered it via the streaming site-- but if the talks lead to a deal and a long-awaited reunion, we think it will probably be worth it.

The source told The Hollywood Reporter that talks are currently underway and agreements are being negotiated with the cast members and creators, and once a deal is made the next step will be figuring out a schedule that works for everyone.

The source has also warned that there is a possibility a deal will not be reached and the talks will collapse (Could this be any more Brexit?) but with the show's 25th anniversary coming up, it seems like the perfect time for a reunion.

The rumour mill has been in overdrive recently after Jennifer Aniston posted a photograph on Instagram of all six Friends hanging out together-- and now we know why.

Would you like to see a reunion happen?
