SHOCKING footage has emerged of a tourist couple getting robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight by a hooded figure in Dublin.
The incident allegedly took place on Monday evening around 6pm on Longs Place, Dublin 8 near to the Guinness Storehouse.
Gardai are said to be currently carrying out an investigation.
The attack allegedly happened near the famous Guinness storehouseIn the footage, realised by RTE Radio, a figure in a blue hoodie can be seen pointing what appears to be a handgun at a woman, before a male partner rushes over.
The gun-toting individuals then points it at the man before he and a hooded companion of his make off with a stolen mobile phone.
A Garda spokesperson said: "Two males armed with what is believed to be a gun, allegedly stole a phone from a pedestrian.
"No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
