CHRISTMAS IS coming early for one family in Ireland who will get to spend the holidays with their baby back thanks to the Irish Air Corps.
The young child had been in over the UK for much of the past two months receiving treatment for an unspecified condition.
But she is now being flown back to Ireland just in time for Christmas.
It’s all thanks to the hardworking crews of the Irish Air Corps, who have moved heaven and earth to ensure the child can be close to their family.
The Irish Air Corps took to Twitter to spread word of the happy news.
Christmas has always been a time for seeing family and loved ones and the news that this young child is set to be reunited with theirs is the perfect ending to this particular festive story.
The tweet features a picture of the young tot, pictured looking cosy under a pink blanket alongside a teddy bear with the words "I flew with the Irish Air Corps" emblazoned on it.

"Some Air Ambulance missions are more memorable than others... today will definitely be one of those days!” the post’s caption reads.
"In early October the Air Corps responded to a request from the HSE to transfer this patient to Newcastle for treatment, and today one of our Casa crews had the pleasure of bringing her home for Christmas. Happy Christmas!"
It's just the latest example of the incredible work done by the Irish Air Corps.
On December 18th alone, two air ambulance flights were completed in Galway and Roscommon while a duty aircraft in Baldonnel transported a specialised medical team from Dublin to Cork in just over 1 hour.
As the saying goes: “Not all heroes wear capes.”
