THE family of missing Manchester man Curtis Higgins are deeply concerned after "very out of character" behaviour.
Mr Higgins, 29, is described as white, 6ft 4in, of a slim build, with greenish blue eyes and short brown hair.
His last known whereabouts were at his home in the Tameside area of Manchester on Sunday morning, where his mother Denise Higgins says she heard him using his computer to print something and then he left.
She said she assumed he was going to work.
Just after 9pm on Sunday evening was the last time Mrs Higgins heard from her son.
She told The Irish Post: "At ten past nine on Sunday evening, I got a message off him saying, 'I'm not coming home, x'."
Mrs Higgins says this is "very out of character" for her son.
Curtis Higgins' phone has been turned off since he sent the text, however, it is understood that his bank card was used to purchase a train ticket from Manchester to Holyhead and then purchase a ferry ticket from Holyhead to Belfast. A transaction at Holyhead port was also completed using his bank card.
It's thought Mr Higgins has ties to Northern Ireland and also has family in Co Longford.
