IRISH weather woman Joanna Donnelly has hit back with humour at a troll who sent her a vile letter.
It's been a week of highs and lows for the meteorologist, and not just weather wise.
Earlier this week, Joanna Donnelly took to Twitter to share a lovely message written by a young girl who thanked her for her hurricane warning and the two days off school.
However, taking to Twitter again, Donnelly shared a horrible letter from a troll who criticised her appearance as well as telling her she's 'no big deal.'
The letter said: "Get off the stage Donnelly, you work for Met Éireann, you're a weather forecaster, that's all.
"No big deal. Nobody is remotely interested in you or your lifestyle, you're not even a little bit attractive.
"You're obviously trying to break into the entertainment/celebrity side of it like some of your colleagues.
"Stick with your cushy job in Glasnevin. Yuk."
In fairness I have lovely legs. Just can't see them on tv. My mother would be furious and demand I have this fingerprinted. pic.twitter.com/G9lK53qbaN

Not one to be fazed by the criticism, Donnelly said: "In fairness, I have lovely legs. Just can't see them on TV.
"My mother would be furious and demand I have this fingerprinted."
She later added: "I should elaborate that me and my colleague got a massive laugh from this last night.
"'Ah come on,' I said, 'Not even a BIT attractive.'"
