BBC Northern Ireland host Stephen Nolan took to twitter today to reveal the Christmas card he claims he received Ian Paisley Jr.
The card shows a caricature of the DUP man dressed in a Northern Ireland strip and Santa hat outside the Houses of Parliament.

It shows the pro-Brexit MP for North Antrim kicking a ball labeled ‘Brexit’ into a net.
Presumably it was to illustrate a Brexit victory, but predictably everyone made the same joke…
Thats his own Goal

Is that an ‘Own Goal’ @ianpaisleymp ?
— Onlyslaggin (@onlyslaggin) December 21, 2017
Is that an own goal he’s scoring
— Andrew Norrby (@ANorrby) December 21, 2017
Is that Ian “the goalie” Paisley scoring a Brexit own goal? Accurate indeed for a unionist
— Nigel Watson (@NigelAWatson) December 21, 2017
Own goal obviously
— Nick McCartan (@TheDcMassive) December 21, 2017
Brexit DUP OWN GOAL very appropriate
— Thomas Kavanagh (@MichealCanavan) December 21, 2017
Is this a hint he thinks Brexit is an own goal?
— iain johnston (@johnston_evo3) December 21, 2017
An own goal I take it....
— onhistodd (@onhistodd) December 21, 2017
An own goal, as No 1 is the goalkeeper.

Brexit Own Goal!
— Stevie Butler (@StevieButler6) December 21, 2017
Some questioned the similarity to the DUP man…
Looks like Daniel O'Donnell scoring an own goal.
— Brendan Gilmore (@BrendanFGilmore) December 21, 2017
And Why is Patrick Kielty scoring own goals???
— onhistodd (@onhistodd) December 21, 2017
Paisley thinks he looks like Paddy Kielty.

Meanwhile others joked that despite his choice of strip, perhaps Paisley – who last year encouraged people to apply for an Irish passport after Brexit – had switched allegiances…
Didn't know he was a left footer
