AN ELDERLY man has died after his car crashed into a ditch in KIlkenny on Friday.
The 73-year-old received serious injuries in the incident, which occurred at 8.10pm at Dangan, two kilometres from Thomastown.
He was taken to St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny where he was pronounced dead this morning.
The man was the only occupant in the car.
Garda forensic investigators have examined the scene and the local coroner has been notified.
