THE DUKE and Duchess of Cambridge have attended the annual Irish Guards’ St Patrick’s Day parade in London.
William, a colonel of the regiment, took the salute while Kate presented shamrock to the officers.
The march-past, which was led by Irish wolfhound mascot Domhnall, involved 350 soldiers.
The parade took place at the 1st Battalion's base in a snowy Hounslow, West London.
After the formalities the Duke marked the occasion with a glass of stout.
