IF YOU'VE been wondering how to keep the kids occupied during the long wait for Santa, look no further.
Dublin Zoo have announced that all adults will be able to attend the zoo for half the usual price any time from now until December 31st, with ticket prices not returning to normal until New Year's Day 2020.
The offer is available 7 days a week, and is being launched to celebrate the zoo hitting the impressive milestone of one million visitors in 2019.
Leo Oosterweghel, Director of Dublin Zoo said of the intiative: “We are absolutely thrilled to have welcomed our one millionth visitor to Dublin Zoo this year.
"2019 was an amazing year for the Zoo with the opening of the new wolf habitat 'Wolves in the Wood' as well as numerous new births including two western lowland gorilla babies, two Rothschild giraffe calves and California sea lion pups, along with the return of ‘The Zoo’ TV series.
"To thank everyone for their continued support we’re delighted to offer adults half price tickets for the month of December.”
The popular tourist attraction often give back to the community with special entry rates-- in October, all tickets were half price for two consecutive weekends to celebrate World Animal Day.
But be warned, the discounted tickets will be available to buy at the zoo entrance's ticket office-- so don't buy them online or you'll be paying full price!
