A PAIR of Irish teens who went viral with their performance of Christina Aguilera’s signature hits have reunited to perform on Irish TV.
Aguilera was recently in the Irish capital as part of her latest world tour.
She continues to be the source of some inspiration too, with Irish Rail shared a clip featuring two youngsters singing her hit duet with A Great Big World, Say Something.
The video saw young pianist Darragh Smith performing the familiar track on a piano at Connolly station.
Soon enough he was joined by aspiring singer Stëphänié Starpøng.
Incredibly, the pair had never met before that particular moment.
Yet, in the blink of an eye, they struck up an almost instantaneous connection that manifested itself in an unforgettable few moments.
Always love to hear great performances at our station pianos, like this from Darragh Smith at the #ConnollyPiano #musiccantakeyouanywhere pic.twitter.com/aOCVTuUyxK

The harmony was fleeting, however, with Stëphänié walking off midway through the performance.
Her sudden cold feet were eventually explained during an appearance on Ray D'Arcy's radio show a few days later.
"I didn't know the rest of the song so I was like, 'It's going to be awkward if I sing the wrong lyrics then it won't be as nice anymore,” she said.
“So I just kind of wandered off!"
Thankfully, the pair were given another chance to perform together, with the results proving equally memorable.
Invited on to The Ray D'Arcy Show last week on RTÉ One, they succeeded in recreating the magic of that original viral video.
This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
