THE firemen of Dublin have warned the people of Ireland to be careful this festive season.
During Christmas, it's a time of merriment, partying, and indulging, which means that people sometimes forgetting about their electrics is a regular thing.
Unfortunately, fires are most likely to happen at Christmas which means the emergency services are even more alert than usual when it comes to aiding people.
They released their opening hours and the numbers you need should you get into an emergency.
Happy Christmas! We hope not see you over the festive season, but we are here 24/7 if you have an emergency. Remember 999 or 112 is the only way to contact us in case of an emergency. pic.twitter.com/4YkaqPFMzn

They also advised people to stock up on batteries before the big day, and to leave any fire-detecting appliances without any interference.
Batteries! Did you get batteries?? Don't forget to pick up batteries for Christmas morning, and while you're at it, pick up a spare battery for your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Don't be tempted to "borrow" the smoke alarm battery on Christmas morning. pic.twitter.com/NVpgo2m9xC
