PSNI from Newry, Mourne and Down have appealed to drivers everywhere to pay extra caution while driving.
One motorist in Northern Ireland suffered minor injuries due to their drink and drug driving.
The car reportedly travelled over 150 feet of fence and undergrowth.
The driver remains in custody.
PSNI operating the Newry, Mourne & Down Twitter account said: "This is what happens when you drive with drink & drugs in your system.
"Car travelled through over 150 feet of fence & undergrowth. Driver suffered only minor injuries & remains in custody," they added.
