TWITTER could end up deleting Donald Trump's account once he leaves the Oval Office in January.
Over the past few weeks, Twitter has issued a number of warnings to Mr Trump's account, regarding his accusations of voter fraud in the presidential election.
The social media giant say that his tweets have been 'misleading' and have attached a warning message to each of them, informing users that claims of election rigging are disputed.
Twitter has a number in-house policies which accounts are expected to abide by.
Usually, if an account breaks these rules, Twitter can suspend or even delete the account in question.
However, world leaders are exempt from some of these rules, but Trump's time as a world leader appears to be coming to an end.
Once he's no longer President, Twitter will treat Trump's account like any other private citizen, and it could be removed altogether if he's found to be in breach of Twitter policy.
A Twitter spokesperson said in a statement: "This policy framework applies to current world leaders and candidates for office, and not private citizens when they no longer hold these positions."
On Saturday, the presidential election was called in favour of Joe Biden.
Mr Trump has thus far refused to concede and said he plans to challenge the result, taking it to the Supreme Court, citing election fraud.
So far though, there has been little hard evidence if any such fraud.
