Donald Trump brands Mitch McConnell a ‘dumb son of a b****’ and slams Mike Pence in shocking rant

DONALD TRUMP has taken aim and former friends and old foes in an extraordinary hour-long expletive-laden rant at a special dinner for Republican Party donors.

The ex-President reportedly used his speech at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach to settle a few scores. Joe Biden’s election victory was branded “bull****”, while he also hit out at Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell calling him a “dumb son of a b****”.

Trump also spoke of his “disappointment” with former vice president Mike Pence who he claimed lacked “courage” in failing to block Electoral College votes and prevent Biden from being sworn in as President.

The event saw hundreds of GOP donors gather at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in to discuss the party’s future.

According to the Washington Post, Trump hit out at chief medical adviser Dr Anthony Fauci, claiming he was “full of crap” and bragged about his handling of the pandemic.

He also praised those Republican governors who kept businesses open during the pandemic.

Pence and McConnell came in for the strongest criticism though with Trump reportedly furious with the pair for certifying Biden’s election victory.

“If that were [Democrat senate majority leader Chuck Schumer] instead of this dumb son of a b**** Mitch McConnell they would never allow it to happen. They would have fought it,” he said, the Post claims.

McConnell was also reportedly branded “a stone-cold loser” with Trump also mocking the Senate leader’s wife, Elaine Chao, who he hired as transport secretary.

She resigned following the Capitol riot.

“I hired his wife. Did he ever say thank you?” he is alleged to have said, sarcastically adding “she suffered so greatly”.

He also hit out at his former vice president, saying: “I wish that Mike Pence had the courage to send it back to the legislatures … I like him so much. I was so disappointed.”

Trump previously tried to persuade and pressure Pence into rejecting Electoral College votes and overturning the election result, despite the fact he had no power to do so.

The ex-President also repeated his claims about the election being rigged against him claiming the result was “bull****” and most Democrats actually believe he won.

He also repeated his controversial claim that immigrants are “murderers, rapists and drug dealers”.

“They’re coming in from the Middle East. They’re not sending their best people. You have murderers, you have rapists, you have drug dealers,” he said, according to the Post.

Despite spending an hour speaking at the event, Trump refused to be drawn on his future, telling attendees that a Republican would win the presidency in 2024 but refusing to say whether he would run for a third time.
