Donald Trump admits Joe Biden won US election but warns ‘I concede NOTHING!’

DONALD TRUMP has admitted defeat in the US election for the first time - but he has no plans to concede defeat to his Joe Biden any time soon.

The President made the admission in a tweet in which he acknowledged the Democrat “won” while continuing to insist the election was rigged against him.

Trump tweeted: "He won because the election was rigged.

"NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a radical left privately owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn't even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more!"

The acknowledgement represents a significant one given that the President had previously refused to even acknowledge the fact he lost to Biden who accrued 74 more Electoral College votes than the President and won the popular vote by five million.

Trump is the first president since George Bush Snr in 1992 to fail to win re-election.

His defeat was sealed when Biden secured victory in the key swing states of Pennsylvania, Arizona and Georgia.

The President has so far refused to accept the result, going against the tradition that previously saw candidates concede defeat.

Instead, he has launched a series of legal challenges designed to try and undermine the validity of the result.

However, despite offering up a plethora of legal suits, Trump’s campaign team has yet to provide any significant or verifiable evidence of fraud.

Trump remains in defiant mood too, following up his admission that Biden won with a warning that he has no plans to concede.

He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!” he tweeted.
