ONE DOG has been reunited with her family a year after she first disappeared.
A German Shepherd named Elsa was missing from her family home for a year before she was brought back.
The pet was walking alone and was wrapped up warm by two ladies who brought her to Dogs Trust in Finglas in County Dublin.
Fortunately, Elsa had a microchip installed and her owner was tracked.
According to Independent, Elsa's owner cried tears of relief upon hearing her beloved pooch was found and rushed to Dog's Trust to pick up her pet.
The day her owner was notified of her presence at Dog's Trust was exactly a year to the day.
