Death of Irish 'Sons of Anarchy' star ruled as an accident

The death of the former Fair City actor has been ruled as an accident.

Alan O'Neill was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment in June of this year.

The Hollywood actor, 47, was best known for his portrayal of Hugh in cult motorcycle gang drama 'Sons of Anarchy'.

Mr O'Neill, who had a history of chronic heart problems, also appeared in Irish film 32A and popular soap 'Fair City'.

According to TMZ, The L.A. County Coroner's Office said the Dublin born actor died of chronic alcohol overconsumption.

The 47-year-old is believed to have fallen at home while drunk which resulted in his death.
