POLICE MEN were on patrol when a dead cat was flung at their car.
On Saturday night, PSNI were patrolling Ballyarnett when a gang of men threw a dead cat at their moving car.
As the group dispersed after the incident, policemen ran after the culprit who could not be identified.
PSNI posted on their Foyle Facebook page:
"I may be hanging on to my job by my fingertips after divulging these state secrets but here goes:
“IF YOU WANT TO AVOID POLICE ATTENTION DO NOT THROW A DEAD CAT AT A PASSING POLICE CAR 🚔”
what is wrong with some people that I just had to write that?!?!"
The team working warned the public of drinking in public and to refrain from throwing dead animals at their vehicle: "But yes, this happened to us an hour ago and the group seem shocked 😮 and surprised 😱 that we actually reacted by stopping the Police Car 🚓
One fella ran off and when we caught him he had 6 bottles of Coors 🍺 hidden in all his pockets 🙄
#CriminalMastermind Annoyingly I didn’t actually see the Carcass Thrower 🐱"
