CONOR MCGREGOR has been sharing photos from his son’s first trip to the panto during the busy festive period – and the pictures are almost too cute for words. Well, almost.
The MMA icon is waiting to see whether he’ll be granted a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov after both fighters were handed indefinite suspensions for their roles in the post-match brawl that marred the Irishman’s shock defeat to the Russian in Las Vegas last year.
In the meantime, McGregor has been spending Christmas back home in Ireland catching up with friends and family and taking in another festive tradition: a good old-fashioned panto.
The annual McGregor family trip to the panto was particularly special this year.
Firstly, it represented a first trip to the panto for McGregor’s son Conor Jr. Secondly, this particular panto happened to be starring Erin McGregor, Conor’s sister.
Erin was starring in Polly and the Magic Lamp at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin with Conor, Conor Jr. and a heavily pregnant Dee Devlin in the audience.
The younger McGregor looked the very picture of excitement, calling to mind memories of many a first panto day out.
The Notorious was only too happy to share snaps from Conor Jr’s magical day out along with several cute photos from across the Christmas period.
It’s not the first time McGregor has shown his soft side, having previously shared a video of him sparing alongside his young son.
And with hopes high for a UFC rematch between McGregor and Nurmagomedov, this probably won’t be the last we see of the Irishman in the not-too-distant future.
