Concern grows for missing Irish man Neil Coady last seen in London

POLICE in London are appealing to find an Irish man who was last seen in the Harrow area a week ago.

Neil Coady, 31, who is originally from Co. Kilkenny, has been missing since the evening of Wednesday, January 27, when he visited the Man of Aran pub in Rayners Lane to pick up a bag he had left there.

Mr Coady is a current player with St Gabriel's hurling club in the capital and has previously represented London at inter-county level.

He had recently told friends that he was moving into a new address in Greenford, west London, but it is not known if he had moved in. He previously lived in Lambeth and Clapham, both in south-west London.

He is described as white, 6ft 1inch tall and of slim to medium build and works as an electrician.

Those that know him describe Mr Coady as a quiet person who is known to go out by himself, but his disappearance is explained as completely out of character.

He has deleted his Facebook account, and police are growing increasingly concerned about his welfare and are urging him to make contact.

Anyone who has seen Neil Coady, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact Ealing Police via 101 quoting ref: 16MIS004820 - alternatively call the charity Missing People on 116000.

This story was amended on February 3 to state Neil Coady's country of origin as Co. Kilkenny
