WHERE OH where oh where is Shadow?
Many of us will know what it feels like when a beloved pet is missing-- and let's face it, it's awful, especially when you share a special bond.
Which is why the community has rallied together to reunite an elderly Kildare woman with her beloved pet Shadow, who has been missing for several days.
An appeal to reunite the Newbridge, Kildare woman with her 11-year-old dog, Shadow has gone viral across Ireland, and can now be found on missing pets sites, news sites and social media as the people of Ireland try to bring someone happiness in what has been a fairly insufferable year.
This beautiful dog called Shadow is missing in Newbridge, County Kildare and is very precious to his owner.
Please share and let's get Shadow home. 🙏

News presenter Shane Beatty shared an image of the dog and owner to Twitter, where he wrote "This is Shadow, who is very important to this lady. But Shadow has gone missing...
"Would be great if everyone could keep an eye out and try and get these two reunited. Come on 2020!"

That post alone has been shared almost 3,000 times, and locals in Newbridge have confirmed they are out looking for the lost pet.
"I live in Newbridge and just had a drive around for 15 minutes or so around my part of town to try and help," one man wrote.
"It's hard in the dark and unfortunately no luck. When I drop the kids off [at] school in the morning I will have another drive around the high street area. Will do my best."
Local businesses have also shared the appeal, with the hope that the more the image is shared, the more likely it will be that someone recognises the missing pet.
One woman shared the appeal and warned that Shadow "is likely to be very scared", encouraging people to "approach gently and cautiously".
If you're in the Newbridge area, please keep a look out and be mindful that Shadow is likely to be very scared so approach gently and cautiously. These two need to be reunited! https://t.co/DuB2OxEVeH

"These two need to be reunited!"
It is believed Shadow may have been spooked by fireworks over the weekend, and there are high hopes the roaming pet will be found safe and sound.
