TWO women and a child have died following a crash in the West of Ireland.
The accident occurred on the N17 Galway/Sligo Road just south of Claremorris in Co. Mayo.
A boy aged seven, a woman in her 40s and another women in her 70s died at the scene following the fatal collision involving a truck.
A local councillor told the Irish Sun that the three who died were all members of the same family from North Mayo.
Mayo County Council held a minute’s silence at its monthly meeting today to expressed its sympathy over the tragedy.
