PIERS MORGAN has been mocked after sharing a picture of his unofficial biography, which showed the price had been cut from £17.99 to just 1p.
The image shows the book, penned by Emily Herbert, was first reduced to £4.25, then 50p before being marked down to a penny.

Morgan, whose father was from Co. Offaly, jokingly blamed Brexit for the huge discount after posting the picture on Twitter.
Others however disagreed, taking the opportunity to poke fun at the Good Morning Britain presenter, with many predicting stores would soon have to pay people to take it.

They will soon start paying customers to get your book!!
— Manwel (@Manwel75) February 1, 2019

Many agreed there was an obvious solution for dealing with unsold copies, which describes Morgan as possessing ‘easy charm and boyish good looks’.
Cheaper than Andrex though innit?

Cheaper than loo roll, stock up for the #Brexit shortages!

If it’s printed on perforated tissue paper, I might buy a copy.
— Griff Griffith (@GriffAurora) February 1, 2019
Others however were even less kind to the former Britain’s Got Talent judge…
Nope you're just getting irrelevant day by day.

Something worth stockpiling... cheap fuel. Chuck another Piers on the fire, it's a tad chilly.

We can only hope @piersmorgan will eventually reach Partridge-esque success. pic.twitter.com/qCntHgYaXv

That will cost a whole post-Brexit pound coin! Far too much!

Morgan later clarified that the book was an unauthorised biography from years ago that is ‘getting the abject global humiliation it deserves’.
“MY books have all been massive best-sellers & still sell at almost offensively high prices,” he added.
To be clear, this is not MY book.
It was an unofficial cuts job ABOUT me from years ago that is now getting the abject global humiliation it deserves.
