Easter came early for one group of chocolate-loving children.
Courtesy of The Irish Post and Celtic Chocolates a sea of Easter eggs was delivered to St John Bosco youth club in East London just in time for the holidays.
The club, organised by Sister Lawrence from the Convent if Mercy in Tower Hamlets and supported by the Irish Youth Foundation, runs weekly Irish dance and sporting activities for young people between the ages of five and 11 living in the area.
And lucky school-goers could not wait to tuck into their selection of tasty treats from Co Meath chocolatiers Celtic Chocolates.
Celtic Chocolates managing director Joe Callery said his company was delighted to be part of The Irish Post’s Easter goodie giveaway.
“We are delighted to be working with this charity, it works hard to support organisations that help improve the lives of Irish children in Britain," he said. "We hope our chocolate eggs give everyone connected with the Irish Youth Foundation a delicious taste of Ireland this Easter.”
Celtic Chocolates manufactures chocolate products for people with food allergies and intolerances.
Operating from a gluten, wheat and egg free site in the countryside 30 miles west of Dublin, the company makes chocolate bars, after dinner mints, boxed chocolates and Easter eggs in milk, dark and no added sugar chocolate.
