OVER 6kg of cannabis with a street value of more than €130,000 has been seized at Dublin Airport.
Customs officers at the airport discovered the large quantity of drugs when they searched the luggage of a passenger who arrived on a flight from Madrid yesterday.
A man in his thirties was arrested and brought before Dublin District Court
He was arraigned and is due to appear in court next Friday.
The seizure was made as part of the Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the supply and sale of illegal drugs and tobacco products in the shadow economy.
