AN INVESTIGATION is underway after the body of a man was found in a laneway in Dalkey on Dublin's south side this morning.
The man, believed to be in his mid 30s, was discovered by a woman who alerted the gardaí at around 8am.
The scene has been preserved and the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau are expected to attend.
While gardaí are still trying to identify the man but they believe he is local.
The death of the man is being treated as suspicious
