The furry friend was heralded as the highlight of the match by many spectators.
Donegal won the Ulster final against Fermanagh with a score of 2-18 to 0-12 but the real star of the show was one pooch who strayed on the pitch.
The tiny Jack Russell prompted a whole host of memes and hilarious tweets from spectators at home, with some even saying the dog's appearance did a better job than the goalkeeper for Fermanagh.
Only thing Fermanagh hit the back of the donegal net with today #UlsterFinal #donvfer #roverisover pic.twitter.com/nqkZC4ffeB

The highlight of the second half to be honest was when THERE WAS A DOG ON THE PITCH!!!!!! Donegal get the job done to dispatch a rather limited Fermanagh side by 2-18 (24) to 0-12 (12), a ninth Ulster crown for An Tír Chonaill #SundayGame #DoneVFerm https://t.co/9Vv6fMCwwY

This fella made it onto the pitch at the #donegalvfermanagh match and I’ve never seen a dog look so proud of himself pic.twitter.com/tZn9BHyFWs

Highlight of the Ulster final was definitely when the dog ran onto the pitch

Loving the wee dog on the pitch! Could probably do a better job than the Fermanagh goalie! #ulsterfinal2018

Only in GAA would the camera man and commentators start focusing more on a smol dog running on the pitch than the game at play, proud to be Irish if I'm honest.
