IRELAND’S HOTEL of the Year has been revealed, and we can confirm that it looks absolutely class.
The Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards wanted to find the best of the best in Ireland’s hospitality industry, and after a year-long campaign of anonymous visits by judges to those venues in the running, the winners were announced over the weekend.
The awards given included Chef, Street Food and Pet Friendly Destination of the Year, and the prestigious awards are cited as “the most important in Ireland” due to the independent due to the independent nature of the competition.

The winner of the Hotel of the Year title was Marlfield House Hotel in Gorey, County Wexford, and from photographs alone it's easy to see why.
The hotel grows fruit and vegetables on its grounds, and was described as "a magnificent example of sustainable development and a joy to visit" by judges.
And the prestigious hotel even allows certain well-behaved pets into the establishment.
The grounds look absolutely magnificent ...
And the food looks even better.
Marlfield House Hotel have said they are "delighted" to have won the award.
