SUNSHINE and warm temperatures are expected to arrive in Ireland just in time for the bank holiday weekend.
Ireland’s national forecaster, Met Eireann, has confirmed that the country is set to enjoy glorious sunshine and a rise in temperatures later this week as hot conditions in eastern Europe reach the coast.
Earlier this month, the country experienced its first signs of summer with temperatures reaching around 20C.
While conditions have deteriorated again in recent weeks, Met Eireann have provided the good news that the spring-time sun will make a comeback later this week.
According to Met Eireann, this week begins with cool and breezy temperatures and passing showers of rain and hail.
However, a warm front will move up over Ireland on Thursday bringing in milder weather for the rest of the week and over the weekend.
Temperatures are expected to reach the high teens and early twenties.
It’s not exactly tropical, but it sure beats the recent rain and cold!
