APPRENTICE star Karren Brady has taken to Twitter after being mistaken for the new Northern Ireland Secretary of State.
The West Ham vice-chair confirmed on social media that she has not joined Theresa May’s cabinet and that the new Northern Ireland secretary is former Culture Secretary Karen Bradley.
How many people thought Karen Brady got the Secretary of State job for Northern Ireland?

I thought that was Karen Brady.... I know she got the bargain of the century for West Ham on Olympic Stadoum but Northern Ireland Brexit, that is a whole world of pain to sort out ???? https://t.co/yyQku49bsK

Keep misreading her name and thinking Karren Brady is the new Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.

Brady, who recently won an Irish Post Award, revealed it wasn’t the first time she had been mistaken for the politician.
She tweeted: “This time last year people thought I was the Culture Secretary! Now they think I am the new Northern Ireland Secretary! Its Karen (with one R) Bradley (with a E)!”

However some people thought that her time on The Apprentice as Alan Sugar’s advisor would have made her ideal for the role.
One tweeter posted: “I read the appointment of northern Ireland secretary as @karren_brady.. Now that would have kept the #DUP on a short leash.”
And they were not alone in feeling she could resolve the current impasse in the North.

Read this really quickly and for a moment thought @karren_brady had joined the cabinet - thought “yeah she’ll sort @niassembly out”. Now I’m a little disappointed. #reshuffle https://t.co/YxPNaHyN94

We in Northern Ireland can only dream! You would make a difference! #kicksomeass!

Wishful thinking! If we had you and @claudelittner over in Northern Ireland we would definitely have Stormont up and running again!

You'd probably do a far better job than the new incumbent. It's a pity that Theresa May didn't look to the House of Lords, for new Cabinet members....

It’s a pity it’s not You Karren You would have been a good one to sort them out, bet you would not stand for no work for the last year
