AN IRISH teacher was on what she thought was going to be a normal train journey when she was inspired by a young Leaving Cert student.
The young man was sitting across from the teacher on the Dublin to Cork train and spent the journey chatting to an elderly couple sitting nearby.
In a touching note posted on her Twitter account, the teacher called the young man “a credit to your generation”.
Now, the secondary school teacher has contacted Iarnród Éireann to try to find the boy to pass on her message.
Since then, #TheBoyOnTheTrain has been trending on Twitter - and there has been widespread interest in finding the boy.
