FORMER Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis has been released under investigation following an incident with on/off boyfriend and Irish model Jeremy McConnell.
Merseyside-based Davis, 24, and Wicklow native McConnell, 27, met on Channel 4 programme Celebrity Big Brother in January 2016.
The couple have a son together, Caben Albi, born in January this year.
Earlier this month on July 2, Metropolitan Police officers were called to the Royal Chace Hotel on The Ridgeway, Enfield in North London at 11pm following reports of an assault.
Officers attended and arrested Stephanie Davis on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm.
She was taken to a north London police station for questioning and was bailed to a date in late July.
However, Metropolitan Police have said that she is no longer on bail and has been released under investigation.
Mr McConnell was treated at the scene and did not attend hospital, however, images of his bruised face were circulated widely on social media as he returned to Ireland after the incident.
