THERE is only one thing more controversial than Donald Trump and that is Donald Trump's hair.
The headline-gradbbing billionaire and US Presidential hopeful's unusual ginger comb-over has been the subject of much debate, and generated as many column inches as the fiery Republican candidate himself.
Now, The Irish Post can exclusively reveal that the man responsible for Trump's signature look is Irish-born hairdresser Micheal O'Comhobhair.
Born in Dublin, O'Comhobhair trained as a hairdresser in Ireland, and already had some political big wigs on his books before emigrating to New York in late 1980s.
"I once did Enda Kenny's hair, years ago, before he was Taoiseach. And Brian Cowan." he tells The Irish Post.
By the mid 90s, O'Comhobhair had gained a reputation as a hairdresser to the stars.
In 2004, he was hired to work on the first season of the American version of reality TV show The Apprentice which Trump stars in on NBC.
Since then, the hairstylist has been at Trump's side through thick and thin.
As for Trump's odd hairstyle, O'Comhobhair says the property billionaire turned politician is "extremely particular" and faithful to his distinctive do.
And it's no coincide the staunchly anti-left wing politician's hair is always parted on right-hand side of his head, O'Comhobhair reveals.
While the hair stylist to the rich and famous wouldn't reveal how much he is paid to keep Trump's locks in place on the campaign trail, he did say Trump has told him in confidence that if he loses there will be "hell toupee."
