A bus en route to Galway when a fire broke out on board.
The bus had departed from Sligo on Monday evening when it was forced to make a stop in Charlestown in County Mayo shortly before 6 pm.
Smoke was seen arising from the dashboard of the vehicle before the area around the driver's seat caught on fire.
The bus stopped in Charlestown to let the passengers exit the bus.
According to RTE, the heat from the flames caused a window to smash but the fire was controlled by firefighters.
No one was injured in the incident.
