A YOUNG teenager has passed away following the consumption of an ecstasy pill called Rolls Royce.
A schoolboy has reportedly suffered a drugs overdose while attending a Halloween themed rave early this morning
According to The Irish Mirror, the teen took tablets consisting of pure ecstasy, known to many as 'Rolls Royce'. The pills are printed with the recognisable 'RR' logo.
Emergency services were alerted and arrived at the scene of the incident after 1 am and brought the teenager to hospital.
Following the overdose, the boy was sadly pronounced dead in hospital.
It is reported the boy died after the consumption of 200mg of the dose.
A spokesperson for the police investigating the incident warned others of the perils involved with taking the tablets:
"It is believed at this time that he may have taken ecstasy type tablets described as pink, square shaped with the Rolls Royce 'RR' symbol on one side and '200mg' on the other.
"Police are urging anyone who took these tablets at the festival last night and is showing any ill effects to attend hospital as a matter of urgency. They are also warning that anyone in possession of them not to take them."
