A BUS full of young Canadian hockey players collided with a truck earlier today.
The bus which held more than 30 people was on a rural highway in the area of Saskatchewan when it crashed into a truck.
14 died in the collision and 15 were injured, with 3 of those critically injured.
According to RTÉ, the team in the crash were the Humboldt Broncos and had their coach and captain killed in the collision.
A statement on the team's website read: "Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the families of our staff and athletes as well as to all who have been impacted by this horrible tragedy. Our Broncos family is in shock as we try to come to grips with our incredible loss."
