St Pat's day walk explores the history of the Irish in Manchester

A WALK exploring the history of the Irish in Manchester will depart from Oxford Road station at 11am on St Patrick’s day on Sunday, March 17.

Led by historian Michael Herbert, the walk will cover key historical events across the city including Little Ireland, the Irish at Peterloo, the arrest of William O’Brien MP, and the story of the Manchester Martyrs.
