WATCH: Young Tipperary fan lights up Ploughing Championships with GAA rap

AS if this year’s National Ploughing Championships in County Offaly weren’t already exciting enough, it seems a new star of Irish rap could have emerged.

Only on Tuesday, the ploughing faithful were treated to a spectacular football match between competing farmers—in tractors as the annual event got underway.

Today marks the final day of the championships, with the winner for 2017 still yet to be decided.

But if tractor football stole the show on the Tullamore event’s first day, then there’s no doubt as to the highlight of day two.

Yesterday, nine-year old Tipperary hurling fan Timmy Costello displayed incredible confidence in getting up in front of those gathered at the Bank of Ireland tent to wow them with his wordplay.

Hurling pro’s Seamus Callanan and Henry Shefflin couldn’t contain their laughter as young Timmy name-dropped and dissed his way through a rap that went down a storm with his audience.
