AN 11-year-old Irish boxer has set his sights on reaching the All-Ireland Final to impress his grandfather in London who has never seen him box.
Soni Gaffney from west Cork made a video (below) for his grandfather – a former professional boxer – showing off his skills during various training sessions.
Young Soni – who boxes for Dunmanway Boxing Club – is an ambitious boxer, recently claiming the Cork County Champion crown. Now, he's aiming to reach the All-Ireland Final, a match that he's hoping his grandfather will travel to Ireland for.
The club is also trying to the raise funds necessary to reach the championships, including travel and accommodation costs. To donate, click here
