BELFAST has earned its place on the new ‘World Edition’ of the Monopoly board, which will mark eight decades of the game.
The North of Ireland city was one of 20 international cities selected by a global online vote to feature in the edition, to be released this autumn.
As expected, major cities such as London, Tokyo and Sydney were chosen, however, no Irish destinations made the final cut.
Owners Hasbro said nearly 4 million votes were cast across 182 countries.
