The most popular counties to visit in Ireland have been revealed

TOURISM in Ireland is booming, with record numbers having visited the country last year – but which Irish counties are most popular with overseas visitors?

Fáilte Ireland's Survey of Overseas Travellers has found that (no prizes for guessing) Dublin tops the list of the Republic of Ireland’s most popular tourist destinations, with almost five million visitors in 2015.

Cork, Galway and Kerry make up the rest of the over a million club, with Offaly, Roscommon and Longford the three least popular destinations.
