MET Éireann has issued three separate weather warnings with Storm Gareth set to blow through Ireland early this week.
A Status Orange wind alert has been issued for Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo, while a Status Yellow wind warning will also come into effect for the rest of the country.

Both warnings will be in place from 12pm tomorrow until early on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a Status Yellow rainfall warning has also been issued by the national forecaster for all of Connacht as well as Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
The rainfall alert will be in place from 6pm tonight until 6am tomorrow morning, as heavy rain and thunderstorms look set to bring "disruptive" accumulations of around 25mm.

Of the Status Orange warning, Met Éireann said: "As storm Gareth approaches, westerly winds will reach mean speeds of 65 to 75km/h with damaging gusts reaching 110 to 130km/h.
"There is also the risk of coastal flooding due to high seas."

And of the Yellow warnings, the forecaster added: "Westerly winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h and gusts of 90 to 110km. There is a risk of coastal flooding due to high seas along Atlantic coasts.
"Heavy rain followed by squally showers will lead to the risk of rainfall accumulations of around 25mm."
