ON ANY other day, the heavy snowfall and bitter conditions that we were faced with over the weekend would have been enough for anyone to stay indoors and hibernate, but not on St Patrick's Day.
Both Ireland and the UK were hit with snow and freezing conditions on Saturday and Sunday, but the celebrations carried on nevertheless.
London held it's parade yesterday, drawing to a conclusion a festive weekend in the capital which was made all the more special by Ireland's historic Grand Slam win over England.

Even host of the St Patrick's Day London celebrations, Eoghan McDermott, embraced the snow with a rendition of Let It Go from Disney's Frozen.

Meanwhile, back in Dublin, a very special guest was in the stands to celebrate St Patrick's Day with the Dubs.
Magician Dynamo managed to get himself a great vantage point just in time for the parade.

On the other side of the Atlantic, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar led proceedings at the New York parade, just a couple of days after meeting with President Donald Trump in Washington.
