THE RECENTLY resurrected artwork by Maser is to be removed from outside Project Arts Centre.
The removal comes as the second time the heart is being covered again.
The mural, which was first painted in July 2016 was removed in less than a month because it was reportedly violating planning rules set down by Dublin County Council.
Dublin-based artist Maser repainted the mural on April 9th to gain momentum for the upcoming referendum on the 8th amendment in May.
The Hunreal Issues tweeted their disappointment at the news.
For the second time, the @MaserArt #Repealthe8th mural is to be painted over at @projectarts. This attempt to silence debate and stifle momentum around Repeal the 8th will not work. - @RebeccaMoy https://t.co/M6EYyk454V #Together4Yes pic.twitter.com/ZVChlJwdp8

According to The Journal, the mural must be taken down this time as the Project Arts Centre lies in danger of losing its charitable status in showing a preference for one particular side coming up to the referendum.
