THE MSC Meraviglia, the world’s fifth-largest cruise ship, docked in Ireland today.

The 315-metre long ship became the largest ever (by passenger capacity) to dock in Dublin Port when it arrived at 7am, shrouded in fog.

The massive cruise ship, which is 65 metres tall and 43 metres wide, can accommodate 5,700 passengers.

On-board features include two exclusive Cirque du Soleil shows, 20 bars and lounges, 12 dining venues and Chocolate Atelier designed by award-winning pastry chef Jean Philippe Maury.

The ship spent several hours in Dublin before heading onto Cork for the next leg of her journey.
